I did still find it to be heavy on religious themes for sure. I'm glad she's going back into the paranormal but it's definitely not on par with Interview With A Vampire for sure. I'm interested to see what she will come up with next. It was really interesting to hear her talk about how she came up with the idea for this book. Even though The Vampire Lestat is technically the second book in the series, it's written from a different person in a whole other time period.
