This week's feature: Marie @ Mission to Read

Weekly Question:
What is/was your favourite subject in school?

Saying I like the breaks most doesn't count right? I think I like physics best then. Not really because of all the calculating, but learning how the world works, why we don't all just fall apart. And I like to play with electricity and little wires and cables, I admit it.

Leave a comment so I can return the visit!

After the weekend I'll be back with some interesting reviews! My exams went really well. I'm excited to return to blogging again, I missed you guys (:

That's so awesome that you chose Physics. Not many have mentioned that as a favorite subject. Indeed, it's hard core brainwork...and yer right, there is something pretty fascinating about the mechanics of...well, everything! Including the mundane, everyday occurrences.

Cheers,
Alisha

Getting through all exams without too much blood loss means congratulations are in order. While physics presents a LOT of explanations as to "how things work" there's so much we as a species still do not know about life, how we got here, or about where we all go after dying. Thankfully we have fiction writers to answer the sort of questions that science has yet to touch upon.

My favorite class in high school? (Can't think of one). My favorite class in college? Medical microbiology. I loved learning about germs and tiny invisible vampires that feed off our human bodies every single day.

I'd like to thank everyone for stopping by! There seem to be two camps in this, people who like physics and people who don't.

@ Tami, I agree, science will never be able to explain why we exist, or other fundamental questions. We can only answer those questions for ourselves, and the imagination of writers can be a great help in that.
