Bout of Books 4.0 Readathon: Goals

With the Bout of Books 4.0 readathon coming closer and closer (for more info and sign ups, click the image), it's time to post my reading goals!

I'm almost a Bout of Books veteran, having participated in Bout of Books 2.0 and 3.0, and I know that I will probably spend a lot less on reading than I'm planning to. Especially since I'm hosting a challenge again (yay!) and with all the socialising going on, both on Twitter and on other people's blogs. I'm going to try to finish four books. I hope I can get above that though!

Here's what's on my pile:

What are you reading for the readathon? Leave a comment!

Matched and Eve are both books that I've looked at, but haven't picked up yet. Good luck, have fun and can't wait to take part in your challenge.

I've already started it, and it's quite different from his early work but still very good

Oh my goodness, a Stephen King during a readathon! You're much braver than I am, I picked a bunch of shorter books. It's a good one, though! I also really liked Eve. I own Matched but haven't read it and I have the Peculiars from the library but I probably won't get to either of them next week. Good luck!

Thanks Liz! I'm very much looking forward to read them (:

Ah, really liked Eve, didn't like Matched. And I have three of those books to read too.

Since there are too many books to be read, I'm taking a vote till tomorrow for what books I should read. If you find some time, do vote here - http://poll.fm/3owci Thanks.

Hehe, I wouldn't dare touch it during a readathon if I hadn't started it already! I'm about halfway, so I should be able to finish it (: I'm looking forward to read Eve, heard so many great things about it!

Thanks for stopping by ^^

I voted! Just kind of voted for every book I have on my TBR pile too. You got quite the selection!

Thanks for stopping by (;

I should probably read The Mysterious Affair at Styles as well :) I might read that one after one of my uni books, just to make it a bit more enjoyable, lol. But yeah, I have a feeling I might not be able to read as much as I want to. :( It'll be fun, though!

I don't do horror, so I have to give you props for reading Stephen King :) Good luck with your books this coming week!

Love Douglas Adams!! The Peculiars was pretty good and I liked Matched too. Good luck with your goals :)

I love Stephen King, but I haven't read Lisey Story yet. The Restaurant at the End of the Universe wasn't as good as The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, but it was still funny. Douglas Adams is a favorite of mine.

Good luck this week! :-)

Celine said...

Aww, you should read The Mysterious Affair at Styles! You got so many heavy books to read that you need something nice to reward yourself. And luckily Bout of Books is really low-pressure, it'll be fun even if you don't read that much (:

Celine said...

Hehe, thanks Jacinda! I'm a total wuss, I only read horror books during the day otherwise I get scared...

Thanks Sarah! (:

Thanks Jayla! I think Lisey's Story is one of the lesser known ones - and definitely one of the lesser loved Stephen King's. So far it's pretty good though (:
